Growing up in the countryside of southern Sweden certainly shaped the fundamental values on which Jens bases his relationships, the advice he gives and the valuations he provides, along with every other aspect of the authentic and transparent support he offers. For him, the relationship of trust that he forms with a client is a vital part of his expertise.
With a diploma from EFAP in Paris under his belt, he went on to complete a course at Christie’s Art Education in New York, both of which helped him to secure professional roles in which precision, meticulousness and interpersonal skills were essential. With a career focused mainly on international business, he worked in the events sector and later the meticulous and somewhat understated world of family offices before joining Varenne in May 2021.
A seasoned Parisian, having spent the whole two decades of his career here in the capital, he is extremely familiar with the city’s most demanding of inner workings, as well as its more historic districts, of which he is particularly fond. This, combined with his international expertise, makes him the absolute embodiment of the ‘think local, play global’ ethos that is so dear to the agency, with all of the demanding standards and authenticity that that entails.
