Light On Art by Varenne presents CASAMANCE and Maison Berthet Logeais – Issue #10

For this 10th edition of LIGHT ON ART, @varenne_paris  is celebrating its 35th anniversary by showcasing French craftsmanship.

Come and discover in our branches: a collaboration with @casamance_official and @maisonberthetlogeais, focusing on materials, craftsmanship and bespoke design.

To mark the occasion, Maison Berthet Logeais is unveiling MOBILE, its first furniture collection. A daybed, stool and screen take centre stage in a display designed exclusively for Varenne: Casamance fabrics, curtains, textile frames, cushions and furniture come together to form a cohesive whole, where every detail complements the architecture of the space.

An invitation to discover a way of life where heritage, craftsmanship and contemporary design come together.

The Varenne branches: places for meeting people and finding inspiration

Located on Place Saint-Sulpice and Rue de Babylone, in the heart of the Left Bank, the Varenne agencies are transformed into veritable exhibition spaces for the duration of LIGHT ON ART.

More than just a gallery, they offer an experience where luxury property, interior design, arts and crafts, and contemporary design come together naturally.

Each collaboration is conceived as an encounter between a space and those who know how to bring it to life.

Because selling an exceptional property is also about passing on the art of living.

For this tenth edition, which also marks Varenne’s 35th anniversary, the chosen theme is “The Time of Matter”. It celebrates the craftsmanship, textures and masterful trades that shape interiors. Two French brands are joining this new edition.

Maison Berthet Logeais: the art of interior design

Interior designers Zoé Berthet and Amélie Logeais are carrying on the tradition of bespoke furniture with a resolutely contemporary approach.

To mark LIGHT ON ART, they are presenting MOBILE, their first furniture collection comprising a daybed, a stool and a screen.

Designed exclusively for Varenne, their installation transforms the showroom into a truly living interior where furniture, fabrics, curtains, cushions and textile panels come together to form a cohesive whole, in the spirit of the great French interior designers.

Each piece serves as a reminder that beauty often arises from precision of craftsmanship and the interplay between materials.

Casamance: matter as a language

Casamance, a French brand renowned for its collections of fabrics and wall coverings, has contributed to this installation by dressing the spaces with its designs.

Curtains, seating and textile arrangements complement the architecture of the space whilst playing with the light.

More than just décor, this collaboration embodies a particular vision of French luxury: one in which the materials tell a story, evoke emotion and enhance the spaces.

A set design conceived as an interior

At Varenne, an exceptional property is rarely viewed empty.

Through this collaboration, visitors discover how decorative craftsmanship brings out a space’s full potential.

The furniture complements the Haussmann-style architecture, the textiles extend the sense of space, and the materials capture the natural light.

Together, these elements create a sensitive environment where heritage and contemporary design complement each other seamlessly.

A new way to explore luxury property

LIGHT ON ART reflects a deeply held conviction at Varenne: property is also about culture, heritage and the art of living.

By regularly inviting designers, illustrators, craftspeople and creators to showcase their work in its branches, Varenne reaffirms its commitment to French creativity and transforms its spaces into genuine meeting places.

This approach is now an integral part of the company’s identity.

It enables interiors to be reimagined, inspires visitors and fosters a dialogue between architecture, interior design and heritage.
