Light On Art by Varenne presents ALMA Ébénistes, Little Cabari and Marie-Victoire Winckler – edition #9

One vision, three expressions of bespoke craftsmanship.

With Light On Art, we are opening our Parisian agencies on Place Saint-Sulpice and Rue de Babylone to a sensitive dialogue between art and design.

Chapter 9 brings together three companies that we are welcoming to the agency for the next six months: ALMA Ébénistes, Little Cabari and Marie-Victoire Winckler

Three brands that already know each other, having collaborated on several occasions at Parisian exhibitions and architectural projects. We share the same high standards: sensitive design, rooted in the material and built to last.

Opening Thursday, January 15, 2026

during Paris Déco Off

7 place Saint-Sulpice, Paris 6th arrondissement

The exhibition is on display at our two branches until spring.

ALMA Cabinetmakers

At ALMA Ébénistes, it all starts with a gesture. That of Alexis and Martin, who design and create unique pieces of furniture and custom interior fittings, where wood interacts with other carefully selected materials.

Their approach is deeply contemporary, but never disconnected from traditional craftsmanship. Each project is conceived as a specific response to a place, a use, a way of living.

ALMA works with private individuals, interior designers and institutions alike, with the same goal in mind: to bring cabinetmaking to life today, without freezing it in time, by incorporating it into contemporary, elegant and functional interiors.

Little Cabari

With Little Cabari, materials become storytelling. Their hand-designed panoramic wallpapers and wall coverings bring a pictorial and poetic dimension to spaces.

Available in custom-made or ready-to-install formats, their creations are printed in France on eco-friendly non-woven paper using water-based inks, without PVC or VOCs (class A+). This environmental requirement does not detract from the richness of the colours or the finesse of the patterns.

Little Cabari transforms walls into living surfaces, capable of complementing all types of interiors, from the most classic to the most daring, with impeccable quality.

"Material as language"

Marie-Victoire Winckler

Trained in Fine Arts in France and Milan, Marie-Victoire Winckler worked at Cassina, then at the studios of Patricia Urquiola and India Mahdavi, contributing to iconic projects around the world: Mandarin Oriental Barcelona, Sketch London, collaborations with Louis Vuitton, Baccarat, Rosenthal, and more.

Since 2016, her Paris studio has been the birthplace of objects and furniture that combine contemporary design and traditional craftsmanship. Her creations bear the mark of masterful technique, nourished by a rich visual culture inherited from a childhood spent between Berlin, Paris and Rome.

Each piece is conceived as a presence in its own right within the space: neither decorative nor demonstrative, but deeply inhabited.
